Seattle officially has an NHL team that booed commissioner Gary Bettman in the Kraken Expansion Draft.
Seattle fans have been waiting for this day for a long time – the first season of the new NHL team, Seattle Kraken. After presenting the name and logo last year, the team officially established its list Draft Expansion on Wednesday, July 21st.
Before the draft was made, NHL Commissioner Gary Bettman took to the stage to give a talk. On his way to the podium, Bettman, a Seattle loyalist, exploded.
NHL Commissioner Gary Bettman flirted with Kraken Expansion Draft
Bettman said the best thing is that Seattle is officially ready for hockey. Let’s really be here, you don’t have an NHL team if you don’t shop.
The full list will be revealed at the end of the event (if you were lucky enough to avoid spoilers on social media). In the early stages of the draft, it was revealed that Kraken will play his first game of the regular season on the road against the Vegas Golden Knights. Not only that, but Seattle home jerseys showed the new goalkeeper Chris Driedger, of the Florida Panthers.
Congratulations to Seattle and welcome to the NHL.
