Bradley Beal has ripped Kent Bazemore out for injury comments; Warriors forward responds

The exciting race for the 2020-21 NBA scoring title took a strange turn on Monday.

Wizards star Bradley Beal (31.4 points per game) and two-time MVP Stephen Curry (31.9 points per game) have gone from top to bottom in the league standings in the final stretch of the regular season. Beal scored 50 points when Washington beat Indiana on Saturday, but Curry responded a few hours later with 49 points when Golden State beat Oklahoma City. Beal had to sit at the end of that competition, even after the tension was pouring.

In Monday’s shootout for the Warriors, Golden State striker Kent Bazemore, one of Curry’s closest NBA friends, praised his teammate’s score and made a not-so-subtle shot against Beal.

“Forty-nine points in 29 minutes, but, that’s unreal,” Bazemo said. “And we got the guys hurting the hamstrings, trying to keep up. So you have to do some research on all of them.”

Beal, surprisingly, disapproved of Bazemore’s comments. After the Wizards lost to the Hawks on Monday, Beal, who sat in that game with a hamstring injury, went into the Twitter drawer.

It all started When Beal tweeted“Should I let him live or really leave?” Beal’s wife, Kamiah Adams-Beal, responded with a “Mortal Kombat” GIF calling her husband “Finish”.

Apparently, that was all Beale needed to get away. Bazemore tagged him in multiple tweets, calling him “lame right” and saying “let’s keep that goofy”.

Adams-Beal also continued to chirp, referring to him as Bazemore Lamont and ripping through his formidable status lines.

While these tweets were being released, Bazemore was busy helping the warriors get rid of the high-end Jazz. Golden State won 119-116 with 19 points, while Bazemore led the action on social media.

“I think you can’t make any more jokes about it,” Bazemo said in his post-game media usability. “Man, whatever. I don’t know, man. I feel like I’m a pretty light guy. I’m still in my lane. I don’t say things to lighten the feathers, but, man, if you want to know what my loyalty is, it’s [Curry]. Anyone who chases after it will be tough.

“But anyway, it’s out of hand. I don’t check my phone all day after the game, so it’s exploding.”

Asked if he would get to Beal, Bazemo said “there’s really nothing to explain.”

“It simply came to our notice then [he gets injured]”, Said Bazemore.” It’s already out. I don’t wish him anything bad. It’s just a comment. … It will pass, probably tomorrow. I will wake up, and everything will be the same. I don’t have time to get all this rubbish on Twitter. “

Bazemore added that he planned to go home, watch his wife, watch the TV series “Peaky Blinders” and go to bed. Fulfilling his word, he did not respond to Beal on Twitter.
