Dak Prescott is ready after the 2020 downturn. But how healthy is the Dallas Cowboys defense after an unforgettable year? Before dramatic changes?
You’ll notice offensive players on the list below and that can be said to be quite surprising considering the problems of the 2020 Dallas Cowboys in particular on the other side of the ball. But the club was busy trying to correct these situations in free agency and draft.
The new defensive coordinator is Dan Quinn and there are veteran add-ons like Keanu Neal (who makes the transition from outside defenders to safety). The head office he used eight of his 11 chances to defend the ball.
That makes a lot of decisions this summer. So what five players will come out on Mike McCarthy’s team before opening the first season against Tampa Buccaneers champion?
5. TE Jeremy Sprinkle
He joined this team in Washington this season for four seasons with that franchise (via Spotrac). Jeremy Sprinkle was selected for the fifth round of the University of Arkansas and was best known for his blockade. He only caught 34 passes for three points during his time on the Football Team. And it is worth mentioning that 26 of them arrived in 2019.
Signing makes sense since Blake Jarwin played only one game last season. This allowed Dalton Schultz to put up strong numbers. But is Sprinkle really versatile enough to keep it on the list?
